Sanders Named Executive Director of FCDC

HUNTINGTON – A nonprofit organization focused on fostering community and economic development opportunities in Huntington’s Fairfield neighborhood has hired its first executive director. RaShad Sanders stepped into his new role as executive director of the Fairfield Community Development Corporation (FCDC) in November. He will serve as the organization’s point person for enhancing the physical, economic, health, safety and social aspects of life for Fairfield residents.

City of Huntington to receive $608,000 for paving from antitrust settlement

Trick or Treat in Huntington Moved to Oct. 31 Due to Rain

Mayor Steve Williams has announced that Trick or Treat in Huntington city limits is being moved to 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. The weather forecast is calling for rain on Thursday, Oct. 29, the date that was set by the Cabell County Commission earlier this summer for all of Cabell County.
