Sitting on the Ohio River at the point where West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky meet, Huntington is home to educational and cultural opportunities as well as one of the largest river ports in the United States.
We make no little plans in Huntington. Our vibrant community is becoming a model that other cities across the country are seeking to emulate.

Huntington is steeped in a rich history of diversity with the likes of Dr. Carter G. Woodson, the father of Black History Month. It is a vibrant community that is inclusive and growing more diverse all the time.

My husband and I moved to Huntington five years ago and never imagined we would fall in love as quickly as we did. Huntington has a charm, a spirit, that cannot be manufactured. It is a genuine feeling that has been cultivated from history and formed from progress and growth during the past several years.

Huntington has much to offer. Whether it is the variety of local restaurants, the many festivals throughout the year, or a variety of activities for my children at our area attractions and local businesses, there is never a dull moment nor lack of choices of things to do.
