City Council

Huntington City Council has eleven members, one from each of the nine municipal election districts and two members elected at-large. Council members are elected for a term of four years.

Regular Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers.

The City Clerk and Assistant City clerk are appointed by City Council, and all ordinances and resolutions passed by Council are on record in the City Clerk's Office.
