New website created to deliver local information on COVID-19 pandemic

The Cabell-Huntington Health Department, in collaboration with the City of Huntington and KYOVA Region 2 Planning & Development Council, has partnered with Esri, a global market leader in GIS tracking, to create a local GIS tracking site for our community to provide up-to-date information on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Together, these agencies have created a central point for residents of Cabell County and the City of Huntington (which includes the Westmoreland neighborhood in Wayne County) to access information. The site is called the Greater Huntington COVID-19 Response Hub and it will be updated regularly so residents can find up-to-date information about confirmed cases, testing sites, instructional response guides for a variety of situations and listings of community resources.

Brad Nunley, a GIS Analyst for the City of Huntington, was a key stakeholder in building the site.

To access the site, please visit https://greater-huntington-covid-19-response-hsb.hub.arcgis.com/. The site can also be found at cabellhealth.org.
