Huntington, West Virginia.

The City of Huntington Fire Department is proud to deliver top quality professional fire and emergency services for over 100 years. The department is not only a collection of buildings and vehicles designed to respond to emergencies but it is dedicated men and women whom each citizen, worker and visitor woes a debt of gratitude. They are the wall that stands everyday between harm and safety. This web page is dedicated to them and nine of the city's bravest who died in the line of duty. A memorial stands on the front lawn of Centennial Fire Station No.1, in the City. The following are the names of the nine fire fighters and fire officers who died in the line of duty.
